May, 2007 – Rainbow Capital acquired the assets and business of Vitex Corporation in a leveraged buyout transaction with the assistance of the senior operating manager under the prior owner who came to Rainbow Capital looking for support in acquiring the company. Vitex Extrusion, LLC (www.vitexcorp.com) is an independent manufacturer of aluminum extrusions and machined components serving a broad customer base for applications including solar energy, military, sporting goods, automotive aftermarkets and electronics.

June, 2005 – Rainbow Capital led the acquisition of National Packaging Services, Inc. (www.natpack.com) supported by an institutional investor as a “passive” partner and the largest stakeholder. The company is a distributor of “UN rated” rigid packaging products to industrial end users with a specific focus on customers in the food, flavor and fragrance industries.

February, 2005 – Rainbow Capital sourced the “growth capital” investment and invested with another private equity firm in Classic Tuxedo, Inc.,
(www.classictuxedo.com). Classic is a leader in the formalwear rental industry in the greater Boston region of New England. With the acquisition of Strictly Formals, Classic operates 15 tuxedo rental locations in Massachusetts, Maine, and Rhode Island.
